Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese guitar builder Hiro Miura.
Its guitars are used by many famous musicians, including Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of indigo jam unit, and Katsuji Morioka in Japan, as well as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton overseas.
The XJ CORE is a new series that incorporates a more American nuance.
While the XJ-1T is made entirely in Japan, from sawing to assembly, the Core series is sawn, shaped, and rod-mounted in the US, with painting and assembly taking place in Japan.
Original development began in Xotic USA, with production apparently assisted by Travis Carlton.
This is a classic 5-string JB model.
The body has a classic wood construction: ash and a maple fingerboard.
The pickups are Lindy Fralin, and the bridge and tuning machines are Hipshot.
This model is said to be simple, delicate, and expressive, harmonizing modern and traditional elements, and that's exactly what it is.
When you play it, it feels like the subtle string movements are simply reflected in the sound.
Given this, it makes sense that it was designed as a passive model, deliberately omitting Xotic's greatest strength: an excellent preamp.

The neck shows signs of high-rise. Adjusting it 0.2mm higher than the GIB standard (2.2mm-3.0mm at the 12th fret) allows for smooth play. There may be some buzzing on the higher frets depending on how hard you pick.
The body and finish show minor scratches and dents.

All knobs have been replaced.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee

●Defect Guarantee

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
