In other words, it is an all-in-one pedal with a 3-band EQ in addition to the Buffer and Booster functions.
As with the previous two pedals, just by passing it through, the density of the low to mid frequency range is greatly increased, and a unique tube nuance such as a slight compression and saturation feeling can be obtained.
The Electro Harmonix 12AY7 vacuum tube was chosen for its sound rather than its cost.
Other electronic parts were selected with the highest priority on performance, without any cost-cutting that would impair functionality or lower quality.
This model 2S is an upgraded version of the Beyond Tube PreAmp.
The circuit has been redesigned, the sound has been made sparkling with higher resolution, and the EQ has been changed to the passive type TMB tone stack, which Fender is famous for using.
It feels more like an amp now.
