Description & Condition
Fender is the undisputed number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee.
The Jazz Bass was released with the positioning of a higher-end model of Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound has been loved by many bassists, and even today it enjoys overwhelming support and a shining presence.
This model is a Jazz Bass made in 1962.
It has the most popular specs with an alder body and a rose fretboard (slab-applied).
The year of manufacture is 1961 judging from the neck, and 1962 judging from the pot date.
The bridge PU seems to have been replaced with a Seymour Duncan.
The neck side is probably original.
The nut appears to have been replaced, and considering this, we must consider the possibility that the nut has been refretted or refretted.
However, there is not enough evidence to say for sure that this has been done.
The remaining frets are approximately 60%.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The condition of the neck is high and raised.
The current string height on the 12th fret is 2.0mm on the 1st string and 2.5mm on the 4th string. At this string height, chattering occurs only when the 4th string is pressed at the 12th to 15th fret.
If you want to completely eliminate the chattering and stuck sound, it is necessary to raise the height of the 4th string to 3.0mm.
Please let us know if you wish to have this done.
The condition of the body and painted surface has weather checks throughout.
There are numerous dents, paint aging, and areas where the wood is visible due to being played.
The electrical system is in good condition.
Original pickups are included but are disconnected.
