Description & Condition
Description & Condition
moon is a long-established guitar brand representing Japan.
It is highly regarded by many professional artists, and many professionals such as Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham are known to use moon basses. (Title omitted)
This model is a JB model equipped with the active circuit that they are best at.
The body is Ash, and the fingerboard is Maple and Moon, which is the standard configuration.
This uses a BADASS bridge, so the sound is as directional as it looks.
The preamp is the original Black Bird, which has a good reputation.
In addition to BASS and TREBLE, MIDDLE can be adjusted from inside the back panel.
The playability is excellent, which is typical of moon, and it also has a sharp sound with a moderate compression feel.
The neck end pocket is signed "509 98.10.22 moon".
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works well.
The neck is in good condition. When I touch the back of the neck, there is a slight difference in the skunk line, probably due to the shrinkage of the wood.
The condition of the body and painted surface shows some small dents and scratches.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modification points were found.

When setting up, I use D'addario EXL, which is highly trusted by professional musicians.
