Description & Condition
It is known as a favorite of many artists including George Benson, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, and others.
This model is a gem of the ARTSTAR series, the flagship model of the Ibanez hollowbody line.
At first glance, this model looks like a typical semi-acoustic model, but it has a full hollow body construction without a center block.
This allows for a warmer sound while maintaining a high level of playability.
The body is made of maple.
It is finished in a color called "Antique Violin" and has gold parts for a gorgeous look.
The neck is one-piece mahogany and the fingerboard is ebony.
Both woods have become rare and valuable in recent years, and are luxurious specs.
Both the neck and bridge are equipped with Ibanez Super 58 pickups.
This is the original Ibanez pickup introduced in the late 1970s and produces a fat and sweet sound.
The front pickup can be switched between series, coil tap, and parallel by operating the mini-switch.
A wide variety of sound variations are available.
The pegs, bridge, and other hardware parts are made by Gotoh, which is highly reliable, and every detail has been carefully selected.
This is a rare model that does not appear on the market very often.
How about taking advantage of this opportunity?
The remaining frets are approximately 70%.
The truss rod is in good working condition.
The neck is in good condition, but the string height is 2.3mm to 1.8mm and can be played without any problem.
The body and painted surface are slightly scratched when exposed to light, but there is no major damage.
The pickguard is scratched, the binding is burned, the gold parts are dull, and the bridge pickup escutcheon is cracked.
The bridge has been replaced with a Gotoh GEP104B. (The original is also included.)
