Fender is undoubtedly the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's beloved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Precision Bass, introduced in 1951 as the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, has been beloved by bassists worldwide for over half a century.
This is the signature model of Nate Mendel, bassist for the iconic American rock band FOO FIGHTERS.
It's based on his own 1971 Precision Bass.
The body is made of ash and the fingerboard is rosewood, a combination often seen in the 1970s.
The back of the body features a bolder contour than the standard model, providing a superior fit.
The neck is finished with a gloss lacquer finish for superior playability.
Both are specs befitting a musician onstage.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound Split Single-Coil pickups.
The bridge features a modern Fender HiMass.
The combination of the ash body and rosewood fingerboard provides ample attack and massive low-end output.
This guitar is recommended for players who want a solid sound to support their bottom line, even if they're not a bass fan.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in poor condition, but it can be adjusted 0.3mm higher than the GIB standard (2.3mm-2.8mm) for smooth playability.
The body and finish show signs of use, with occasional dents, scratches, and peeling paint.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller ones.
