Fender is the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
Loved by countless top artists including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, Geddy Lee, and more.

Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and even today it continues to enjoy overwhelming support, giving off a shining presence.

This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1969.
Popular specs include Alder body and Rosewood fingerboard.

There is a stamp 1259 on the neck PU and 3259 on the bridge PU.
I think this means that the neck side is (1259=December 1969) and the bridge side is (9259=September 1969).

The neck end is stamped 7 MAY 69A.

The neck and bridge PU volume pots are stamped 13○6642, and the tone pot is stamped ○○○6642.
The capacitor is commonly known as Blue Molded.

Although many of the pieces have been repaired, it can be said that they have been well-maintained.
I think the sound and playing feel are rather favorable to musicians.

Approximately 85% of the frets remain.
The movement of the truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it can move around 90 degrees.
The neck is generally straight and in good playing condition.
The condition of the body and painted surface is that it was manufactured in 1969, so there are scratches, dents, and paint cracks that are appropriate for the age, but there is no reaction to the paint due to tar, and it is in good condition.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The nut and frets have been replaced.
There are repair marks for a cracked fingerboard at the 4th string nut. There are no problems in normal use.

There is evidence of crack repair on the fingerboard from 15th to 16th and 17th to the neck end. This is thought to have been caused by the fingerboard being repaired when it was refretted, which resulted in the fingerboard not being thick enough and becoming weaker, causing it to crack.
Therefore, you can see the frets penetrating the fingerboard from the truss rod adjustment port.

At GIB, the truss rod has been turned to its limit, but there is a risk that the fingerboard will crack again if it is tightened further in the future, so this is the description of the condition of the truss rod.

There is no problem with playing in the current state.
