Description & Condition

Fender is undoubtedly the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's beloved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a premium model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is beloved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence to this day.

This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1973.

The neck pickup volume pot date is 1377310, the bridge pickup volume pot date is 1377310, and the master tone pot date is 113773○○.

The neck end is stamped 02011933.

Taking into consideration the specifications and serial number, we determined it to be a 1973 model.

The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, popular specifications.

The pickups are original gray bobbin pickups.
The capacitor is also original.

All parts remain in basically their original condition.

The guitar has been refretted and re-nutted.
Currently, the strings appear to be too high, and when adjusted 0.5mm higher than the GIB standard (2.5mm-3.0mm at the 12th fret), the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strings produce a strong, natural tone from the 15th fret onwards, but there is some buzzing.

This will not be a major disadvantage for those who prefer a higher string height or who play more traditionally.

This guitar has a wonderful balance of clarity and earthiness, typical of a 1970s Jazz Bass.
I recommend it.

Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck shows signs of being too high. The tuning is 0.5mm higher than the GIB standard (2.5mm-3.0mm at the 12th fret), and while the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strings produce a strong, natural tone from the 15th fret onward, there is some buzzing. The wood at the end of the fingerboard is worn down, likely due to frequent slapping.
The body and finish show signs of use, with dents, scratches, peeling paint, and feather checking. There is also some tarnish on the metal parts.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The instrument has been refretted and re-nutted.
