This flagship model, the BN, is often described as having the ideal 70's JB sound.

This is the fretless model, the BNF5.

The body is made of ash, and the neck is a 3-piece maple, standard BN specifications.

The fingerboard is ebony and extends to near the neck pickup, which is a distinctive feature.

With 29 frets, it would be difficult to achieve a wider tonal range than this.

The pickups and preamp are the familiar original design.

The neck pickup volume and bridge pickup volume pots can be pulled up to provide hum-canceling for each pickup.

The natural and smooth playability, characteristic of F-Bass, is a major attraction.

This guitar boasts a deep bass response and sharp, present treble frequencies thanks to its heavy ash body, while simultaneously retaining the mellow tone characteristic of a fretless instrument.

Yet, it exhibits an open nuance with rich harmonics in the mid-high frequencies, a hallmark of BN guitars. The balance—a 5-string neck mass without becoming overly dark—is unique to this brand.

The truss rod is stiff, but approximately 90-degree movement has been confirmed.

●Re-purchase Price Guarantee

●Defect Warranty

Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
