Description & Condition
Art Tech is a legendary guitar brand created by builder Sugiura.
It is also known for its use by Ryosuke Niyamoto and others.
This is a 5-string model of the original design.
The body is composed of bird's eye maple top and alder back.
This coloring can only be obtained with age.
The neck is a laminated type mainly made of maple.
As you can see, it has a beautiful grain.
The fingerboard is ebony.
These days, such pitch-black ebony has become precious.
This kind of wood selection may be said to be a luxurious specification because of this era. (Of course, it is possible in modern times as well.)
The circuit is passive, and the original PU is installed.
The bridge was defective when we received it, so we replaced it with an OMEGA brand BADASS type that seemed to be a good match while checking the balance.
The pitch between the strings can be changed to suit your preference.
The sound is well-balanced from the bottom to the top of the 24th fret, and there is no sense of being too much or too little.
This lack of bias is definitely a reassuring point for musicians.
At the same time, the rich overtones and open nuances are pleasant to listen to.
This kind of bass makes you want to play it forever, and you end up spending a lot of time checking it out.
The frets are not worn down significantly, and there are still enough frets left that there will be no problem even if the entire instrument is to be worn down.
The neck is in good condition and could be easily adjusted for playability.
It is currently about 2.0mm on the G string and 2.8mm on the B string, which is our standard, but it can be lowered.
The grips have some signs of use.
We feel that this sound is due to the fact that it has been played.
The body also shows signs of use, especially the 10mm dents on the side of the body, the finger marks next to the bridge PU, and the color shift-like discoloration.
The electrical system is in good condition.
New knobs were installed by GIB.
The neck pocket has the following description.
To be a star
