Tatchi Bass is a Korean bass guitar brand.
They specialize in building Fender-style instruments, with a particular focus on the so-called Pre-CBS period up until around 1965.
One notable feature is that they develop almost all of their own parts, from pickups and tuning machines to bridges and finishes.
They have deeply analyzed Pre-CBS Fenders and selected the optimal woods, wiring materials, and metals.
They design each and every part with intention, controlling every detail when producing their basses. This type of manufacturing is ideal, but in reality it is extremely difficult.
As you can see, the bass GIB ordered this time was a Jazz Bass type.
The body is made of alder.
The color is Candy Apple Red and the finish is nitrocellulose lacquer.
The neck is maple and the fingerboard is rosewood, creating a very classic configuration.
While the brand tends to offer many satin-finished necks, this particular one was ordered with a gloss finish.
The actual finish is excellent, giving it an even more traditional feel.
The hardware is original.
It features classic reverse-wound tuning machines and a spiral bridge.
They describe the metal material, including the control plate, as Sound Steel.
It was reproduced by analyzing vintage Fender hardware.
The pickups are original single-coil pickups.
They're black bobbins and cross-wired.
The overall aim is for a vintage-like character, but with a slightly cleaner impression.
The rich sound is appealing without losing its treble.
It's built simply with volume, tone, and passive controls.
The sound is truly the best JB sound.
Powerful and expansive low end, a mid-range with rich overtones, and crisp treble.
It has a compact impression, but is by no means narrow.
It has a fat nuance, but also a speedy output.
Personally, I think these are exactly the elements of a truly great bass.
This is a masterpiece that showcases the builder's expertise and skill.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchased item within six months of purchase, we guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
●Defect Guarantee
All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used items and one year for new items.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
