Description & Condition
Red House Guitars is a Japanese workshop led by master builder Ryoichi Ishibashi.
After training at a workshop in Matsumoto City, Mr. Ishibashi became independent in 1987.
Based on the skills he cultivated through repairing vintage guitars and OEM production for world-renowned brands, he officially launched his own brand in 2020.
The brand is highly regarded by professional musicians for its instrument making that prioritizes playability, sound projection in band ensembles, and stable pitch.
The Esperanza model features a compact shape and a carefully calculated body balance.
This is a 24-fret model with a PP (plywood) configuration and two PB-type split-coil pickups.
The PP configuration minimizes treble string distortion when mixed, resulting in a clear and crisp sound similar to a JB-type guitar.
Because it's a split-coil design, hum cancellation is effective even when used individually, and noise is reduced, which is another key point.
The body is made of alder, and the neck and fingerboard are made of maple.
This guitar features a classic combination reminiscent of 1950s Fenders, boasting the characteristic midrange sustain of alder wood and the clear attack of a maple fretboard.
The color is OWH (Olympic White).
The headstock is a matching color to the body.
The controls are simple: master volume, pickup balancer, and master tone.
Despite having 24 frets, it doesn't feel too tight, offering a classic and open playing feel.
The overall condition is clean, making it recommended for those looking for a guitar that combines the classic PB feel with modern usability.
Please give it a try.
Fret life is approximately 90%.
