Description & Condition
Dingwall is a globally acclaimed brand that functionally incorporates fanned fret designs.
Its users include a wide range of musicians, from established stars like Lee Sklar, Kyle Konkiel, and John Taylor, spanning various ages and genres. (Titles omitted)
The Afterburner model features a unique body balance and a refined, minimalist design.
The body is likely an alder back with a quilted maple top, and the neck is a 34-37 inch multi-scale 5-piece maple.
The fingerboard is wenge, with a fretless design coated in epoxy resin.
The strings are E to High C.
The tuning machines are the world-standard Hipshot Ultralite, with only the E string replaced with a D-tuner from the same brand.
The bridge is original.
The quality of these hardware components is high, and no cost-cutting measures have been taken.
The pickups are original.
The control section features the brand's signature rotary switch pickup selector.
It boasts an extremely well-balanced response from the low to high frequencies.
A major strength is its clear articulation at every position on the fretboard, allowing for consistent control of the nuances unique to fretless guitars.
With its unique construction providing precise pitch and a clear, well-defined tone that won't get lost in an ensemble, this is a highly practical instrument.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
