Description & Condition
Description & Condition
The electric upright bass market is smaller than that of electric basses, and therefore the number of brands is limited.
Among these limited brands, Landscape stands out with a particularly strong presence.
Many musicians worldwide, including Koichi Osamu, John B. Williams, and Eric Revis, use Landscape basses, and their distribution is primarily centered around jazz. (Titles omitted)
This is the SWB-STD, a solid-body model.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple 3-ply, and the fingerboard is ebony.
It is equipped with two types of pickups: magnetic and piezo.
The Landscape original PB-U magnetic pickup produces an airy sound with a presence that allows you to feel the nuances of string vibration, while the Fishman USA under-transducer outputs a sound primarily focused on a hard midrange that stands out in an ensemble.
These can be freely combined to create various sounds.
The combination of an airy magnetic pickup and a hard piezo pickup offers a wide range of tones, which is a major attraction.
This is a perfect match for those looking for a highly practical electric upright bass for live performances and recordings.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have a few minor dents, but overall it is in good condition.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
