Description & Condition
Tsubasa Guitar Workshop is a brand by Chiaki Tanaka, known for his work on Fullertone guitars.
He has a particularly strong reputation for creating basses inspired by vintage styles, based on his previous work.
This is The Hopper, the brand's flagship model.
As you can see, it's modeled after a JB bass.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
The heavy relic finish is also one of its appealing features.
The pickups are original.
The hardware is all GOTOH.
It boasts an open sound and playability reminiscent of vintage guitars, along with high playability.
A masterpiece assembled with high-quality wood and expert craftsmanship.
This is a guitar that passive bassists should definitely try.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show paint peeling, dents, and scratches, but due to the aged finish, it's impossible to determine if these are later-acquired damages.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
