Combat has a long history of working with professional musicians, and their quality is highly regarded.
In recent years, they seem to focus more on direct orders and repair work, so opportunities to see their work directly in music stores are rare.
This is a fully custom-made 5-string bass.
The body top and back wings appear to be Burl Maple, and the center appears to be Bubinga.
The body core is Mahogany.
The neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Rosewood.
As you can see, the quality of the wood is top-notch.
It is extremely exquisite and beautiful.
The pickups are likely original, and the preamp is a Jiraud JFDT-CS.
Precious materials have been used not only in the wood but also in the electronics.
It boasts a heavy low end, a tight midrange, and a strong attack.
Despite its heavy tone, it has a wide range and beautiful harmonics, likely due to the overall meticulous design.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show minor scratches and dents.

No obvious modifications were observed.
