Sago is a handmade guitar brand based in Hyogo Prefecture, specializing in fully custom-made guitars that fulfill all customer requests.
They also create regular models (though most are one-offs) utilizing the knowledge and skills cultivated over many years, and these are highly regarded.
The brand enjoys strong trust from musicians, with Tabuchi-san of Unison Square Garden, RIO-san of Mary's Blood, and Kusakari-san of Sakanaction being among the Sago artists.
This particular model is based on a classic JB bass.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is Indian rosewood.
This combination offers a rich midrange.
The neck is made of thermo maple.
Thermo maple was originally a building material for Finnish saunas and is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
Perhaps due to this, the sound has a smooth attack and a pleasant responsiveness to picking.
The pickups are original.
This JB-type guitar boasts a modern, wide tonal range while maintaining a rich, full midrange, resulting in a sound that harmonizes beautifully with ensembles.
Fret life is approximately 80%.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck has a slight bend in the 1st string tuning machine, but it currently functions without issue.
The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches. There is a 20.0mm paint chip on the back of the body.
The electronics are in good condition.
The strap pins have been replaced with locking pins.

・Please bear the cost of shipping and other miscellaneous expenses.
●Re-Buyback Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
●Defect Warranty
Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by handling contrary to the precautions described in the instruction manual.
* Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
* If the warranty certificate does not have your name, model name, serial number, etc. filled in, or if the wording has been altered.
* If the warranty certificate is not presented or is lost.
