Description & Condition

The "woofy" brand was designed and manufactured to bring the 5-string bass to as many bassists as possible.

We found a factory in China that matched our price and quality requirements and negotiated directly with them to manufacture and manage the quality before releasing the new product.

Although manufactured in China, the electrical system and string vibration have been set up by specialists at Geek IN Box after receiving the product.

Belden wiring and Switchcraft #11 jacks are used.
The nut, neck, string height, PU height, etc. were all adjusted and delivered in the best possible condition to ensure that the guitar will last for many years.

The pickups, which are very important for the sound, were carefully selected to ensure a clear and crisp sound.
The front PU by itself produces a fat and lively sound like a Precision, the rear PU by itself produces a strong high-mid and rich presence, and the mix produces a deep and bouncy sound.

PJ basses are difficult to balance when mixed, but we have tried to make the balance as good as possible.

This model is beneficial for those who are looking for an entry to middle class bass (around 20,000-100,000 yen), but not something that can be used on a professional stage.

The first model of woofy basses was the JB style cavalier5, and we have been working with the factory to improve the improvements that came out of that model.

We have made a lot of requests to the factory, especially around the neck and frets, and the quality has improved dramatically.
We also ordered lightweight, high-quality wood, and kept the weight down to 3.6~4.1kg.

We do not engage in secondary distribution (wholesale).
We decided to offer a price 30% lower than originally planned by limiting direct sales from GIB.
