Description & Condition
YAMAHA has been supporting the industry since the dawn of guitar making in Japan, and is like the Gibson of Japan.
Nathan East, John Patitucci, and many other top musicians have used Yamaha basses.
This is the MB (Motion Bass), which has a strong following.
It has a small body and head with a 32-inch scale.
The overall small size is distinctive.
The sound is fat and massive.
On the contrary, many bassists today may prefer this kind of sound.
Made in Japan.
Due to some defects, the bridge PU pots were replaced with CTS ones and the jacks with switchcraft ones at GIB.
The remaining frets are roughly 70%.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with a few dents and scratches.
The electrical system is in good condition.
