Xotic is a brand founded by Japanese builder Hiro Miura in LA.

In Japan, Yoshiteru Takahashi, BJ of indigo jam unit, Katsuji Morioka, and many famous musicians outside of Japan, such as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton, are using Xotic. (Honorifics omitted).

The XJ series has been highly acclaimed, especially by studio workers, as a line manufactured in Japan.
The XJ series is basically built in the Fender manner, but with a few modern updates.

The neck joint is positioned slightly differently than usual, and you will notice that it is easier to get your left hand into the high position when you hold the instrument.
This is an arrangement for the modern musician who uses the entire fingerboard.

This is a relatively recent model.
Alder body, Rosewood fingerboard, and traditional wood configuration.

It has a slightly fingerboard-less, 22-fret specification.
We feel this is the largest place to add more frets while keeping the classic playing feel.

Heavy Aged, Matching head and up-charged options are incorporated, but the cool looks are worth it.

The sound is neat, with enough bass range and pleasant overtones.
The performance is very high, and the overall level is high.

This is a modern take on the classic JB style, and is a gem of the modern era.

The frets are almost completely free of wear.
Truss rod operation and neck are in good condition.
The condition of the body and paintwork is difficult to judge because it is a rec model, but there appear to be few new scratches on the body and paintwork.
