【used】SUMO STOMP / SUMO COMP Ver.2【GIB Yokohama】

SUMO STOMP is one of the world's most talented effects pedal brands.

It's like a sister brand to Inner Bamboo Bass Instruments (IBBI), and its high quality has earned it extremely high praise from professionals and amateurs alike.

Musicians who love SUMO STOMP include Wataru Suzuki, Tamon Mori, Makoto Kawahara, and Nobuyuki Abe.

This model is an optical compressor pedal housed in an MXR-sized enclosure, retaining the functionality of the U-II Ultimate Compressor, one of the signature effects pedals from sister brand IBBI.

This has long been a popular model, but this is Ver. 2, which features updated power supply circuitry and wiring.

Specific changes from Ver. 1 include the use of only a 9V center negative power supply, which, like the previous version, is internally boosted to 15V, providing a sense of headroom without distortion or excessive distortion.

In addition, tuning has been improved to provide a fuller feel from the low end to the mid-range.

The controls are easy to understand: Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Output Level, and Side Chain EQ Switch (Side Chain High Pass Filter).

The last control, Side Chain EQ Switch, may be a little confusing, but it applies a filter to solve the problem of certain low frequencies being compressed too heavily.

This is a particularly common problem with bass, so it's nice to have a feature that addresses this issue.

The sound is appealing, with a powerful projection and dense harmonic content.

The compression itself is extremely natural, while the sound is clearly designed, making it easy to use, in a good way, as you'd expect from a pedal-type effect.

This is an excellent product that I can confidently recommend.

If you sell your item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee a repurchase price of 50% for new items and 70% for used items.

● Defect Warranty

All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within the warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will be provided only if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that even within the warranty period, a fee will be charged for repairs in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, moving, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
