Description & Condition
Description & Condition
The company manufactures high-quality guitars and basses in Nagano Prefecture and is highly regarded by many musicians.
The NB is known as the flagship model and has been used by Egawa Hojin-san, Mike Porcaro of TOTO and others.
This one is also a model called NB5SC.
The neck and body of the NB are usually bolted on, but this one has a set neck joint.
The set neck is characterised by its smooth rise and fall. It is very comfortable.
Some may be concerned about the strength of the neck as it is not bolted on, but there is no need to worry.
The neck is solidly built of the highest quality, and this quality contributes greatly to the high playability.
The neck is made of a 5-ply combination of aqua timber maple and maple.
The fingerboard is the usual cocobolo and is beautiful.
The body back is ash and the body top is burl maple.
The beautiful colouring is a wonder to behold.
As for the sound, it is grainy, tight and nuanced with rich overtones that resonate pleasantly.
The looks, playability and sound are all of the highest quality.
Japan, where basses of this quality are sold for less than one million yen, may seem a little strange from a Western perspective.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paintwork is clean with no noticeable scratches.
No obvious modifications were found.

These are quality strings that bring out the best performance and character of the instrument, so enjoy them together.
The GIB craftsmen have adjusted them to make them easy to play and deliver them to you.
