As the name suggests, Nambu Tekki Effects is a brand of effects pedals that use Nambu Tekki (cast iron) as the housing.
The case is heavier than those usually made of aluminum, and the sound is described by the developer as "thick sound pressure and fast response to picking".
The developer, Mr. Keijiro Fukushima, majored in electronics engineering at Tokyo Denki University in order to produce effect pedals.
This is an overdrive preamp for bass guitar.
As you can see, the chassis is from a series that is not made of Nambu ironware.
As for the distortion texture, it is not modern like Darkglass, but a bit old style.
It does not concave the midrange, but rather seems to strengthen it.
The low end is not cut off, and it's like an old-fashioned overdrive.
The EQ is quite strong.
Since it greatly increases or decreases the bandwidth that can be easily heard by the ear, it seems to be good for roughly creating a large sound.
The power supply is 9V center minus.
