Fender is the undisputed number one brand in the world of electric guitars and basses.
It has been beloved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was originally released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and Clear Sound has been loved by many bassists, and it continues to hold an overwhelming presence and support to this day.
This particular model is an American Standard manufactured in 2012.
About 15 years have passed since its production, giving the overall instrument a well-played and seasoned feel.
The Body features Alder, and the Fingerboard is crafted from Rosewood.
This is the most Classic tonewood configuration.
We have determined that there are no replacements in the PU or Pot.
The Bridge is Original and supports Thru-body stringing.
Additionally, it allows for adjustment of string pitch, enabling a Flexible Setting according to your preference.
The Sound is well-balanced and refined.
At the same time, it fully delivers the powerful texture characteristic of a Fender.
Fret: The remaining fret life is approximately 90%.
Truss rod: It feels a bit stiff, but we have confirmed it rotates about 90 degrees without issue.
Neck: There is a slight Twist with more relief on the 4th string side. Since the string vibration is greater on the 4th string side, this is not necessarily a negative factor depending on the Setting. However, if you attempt a very low action on all strings, Buzzing may occur. Currently, it is in good playing condition with GIB’s standard Setting (2.0mm for the G string and 2.5mm for the E string at the 12th fret). While the Truss rod is a bit tight, it functions correctly. Personally, I consider these two points to be within the standard Condition for a Fender.
Body: There are some minor scratches and dings, but no significant damage that exposes the wood.
