Description & Condition
Spector is a guitar and bass brand started by Stuart Spector in New York in 1974.
Vinnie Fodera, who would later launch Fodera Guitars, also worked at Spector's workshop right after the company started.
The brand's NS model, which gained explosive popularity worldwide, was created with Ned Steinberger.
This model is a modern model based on the NS design with modern updates.
A major feature is that it uses the brand's original multi-scale.
Designed to improve the balance of the 34-37 inch strings, especially on the bass string side.
Regular tuning produces a very massive sound that remains even when tuned down.
As you can see, the design is completely different from the fender, but the three-dimensional curved body fits perfectly to the body, and has perfect balance when playing standing or sitting.
When you actually hold it, you can see that it is a base with a very neat balance.
The string vibration system is well controlled and the playability is very good.
You can quickly get rich overtones with a light touch.
The pickup and preamp are made by FISHMAN.
Controls are volume (with pull up switch for coil tap), balancer, bass, and treble.
The attached switch changes the character of the preamp, allowing you to choose between normal, mid-cut, and mid-flat.
As a brand with a long tradition, it has an advanced design yet is finished with a delicate balance.
Please try it.
