Scoop Creation Works is a guitar workshop based in Osaka.

They are especially well known for their Fender-style rec models, which are loved by many artists for their high quality.

This model is a replica of a 1962 Jazz Bass.

The body is made of Alder and the fingerboard is made of Madagascar Rosewood, which is a standard wood composition.
In recent years, the number of Madagascar Rosewood has been decreasing, so this is a valuable model in that sense.

The pickups have been replaced with Fender Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass Pickup Set.

Paint is all nitrocellulose lacquer with aged finish.

The playing feel is very realistic and vintage-like.
This is an excellent piece of work with high quality hardware carefully incorporated.

It is probably because it is made in Japan that this playing comfort and sound can be realized at this price.

Approximately 70% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition. It is difficult to judge the scratches that were added later.

Pickups have been replaced with Fender Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass Pickup Set. Pickup covers and knobs have been painted white. All solder has been replaced. The condenser has been replaced with what is commonly known as a Red Dime. Finger rests have been installed and glued in place, which may cause the paint to peel off if attempted to remove them. The bridge saddle has been replaced with a Fender Pure Vintage '58 Precision Bass Bridge Assembly.
