Sadowsky is a New York high brand whose customers include top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Until now, the Metro line was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, the manufacturing location was changed to the Warwick factory in Germany.
Sadowsky TYO is a custom line of the Sadowsky brand that was manufactured in Japan.
The body looks like an Alder model and the fretboard looks like a Morado model.
As you can see, this is a fretless model, a custom model unique to TYO.
We have determined that this is an original fretless.
The PU is a single coil, not the usual split coil.
It looks to be made by Seymour Duncan, but it is difficult to distinguish and we cannot be sure.
The preamp is a Sadowsky original.
The high quality neck, typical of Sadowsky TYO, ensures high playability.
In addition to such freedom, the absence of frets gives the player a great deal of control over the string vibration, making it possible to play as if it were literally singing.
I would like you to try this bass only if you are good at playing fretless.
The truss rod is in good condition.

The master volume pot had a problem, so it was replaced by a CTS one at GIB. The master volume knob has been replaced with a GIB S KNOB.
