Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand whose clientele includes top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Until now, the Metroline was manufactured in Japan, but with Warwick taking over distribution of Sadowsky products, production has moved to the Warwick factory in Germany.
The Japanese-made Metroline models were already highly acclaimed, so there were some concerns about a decline in quality, but seeing the actual guitars shows there's no need to worry too much.
The neck feels a little thinner than those made in Japan, and there are also differences in the roundness of the body joint.
The brand has several lines for different price ranges, and this is the higher-end Masterbuild model.
It lives up to its name with superb quality.
This model is the signature model of virtuoso Will Lee.
The body has a classic alder construction with a Morado fingerboard.
The neck is made of the finest roasted maple.
It features straight grain and an attractive, beautiful tiger-stripe finish.
These features make it clear that this is a high-end model.
The custom preamp is equipped with a unique mid-boost switch.
This allows for a boost of 500Hz or 800Hz.
You can choose between wide-range or narrow-range, with selectable Q values for each.
Sadowsky's excellent electronics produce a powerful sound even with a low action.
It also has excellent playability, making it a product with great overall potential.
The pickups are said to be different from both the old Metro Line and NYC pickups, but the sound is refined and beautifully designed.
As you'd expect from a high-end model, it combines refined ease of use with an eloquent sound.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish have some minor scratches, but are generally in good condition.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee applies to 50% of the purchase price for new instruments and 70% of the purchase price for used instruments.
●Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
