PRS is a new age standard guitar brand along with Fender and Gibson.
The beautiful guitars they produce are known to be used by the world's top musicians such as Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Orianthi Panagaris, DAITA, and Pablo.
This model is the S2 series, which is positioned in the middle class among PRS models, and was introduced in 2013.
It is made of the same wood as the Core and bolt-on models and manufactured in the United States.
The S2 series has a more understated top and scarf-jointed neck compared to the Core model, which allows the high quality of the American-made model to be maintained while keeping the cost down.
This model is a single-cut with a traditional look.
The semi-hollow construction of this model is characterized by a sound that is somewhere between a solid and an acoustic, with a good boxy and tight feel.
The body back is made of Mahogany and the top is made of Maple.
The body top is asymmetrical beveled top.
It has an attractive look that is different from the standard violin curve.
The neck is Mahogany and the fingerboard is Rosewood, a traditional combination.
Two PRS #7 pickups are installed.
