Provision Guitar is a handmade brand based in Yamaguchi Prefecture that produces high-quality guitars.
Many professionals use the brand, including Takayoshi Negishi, Ken Taneda and Kazuya Kojima (back number).
I personally find the high quality of Fender-style basses in particular very attractive.
This is an extremely simple, classic style 5-string JB model.
Probably made in 2023.
The body is alder and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic combination.
It has a full low end and a slightly nimble but tidy midrange.
The sound is quite austere and understated in its flamboyance, but it is very attractive to 5-string JB lovers.
Very little fret wear.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
There is a 2 mm ding on the 15th fret side of the neck on the 5th string side.
The body and paintwork are in relatively clean condition, although there are a few small dents.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
Overall, it is quite clean.
