Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Tune is a well-established bass brand based in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture.
It has been loved by many bassists since its establishment in 1983.
Phoenix is one of the brands owned by Tune, and they produce many unique custom models.
This model is the Pachibuck, a signature model of Naruchoko and Yoshihiro Naruse.
The design uses a through-neck construction, yet the gorgeous buckeye bar is visible without missing.
This is a labor-intensive construction method, but the beauty of the finished product is convincing.
The body back is decorated with quilted maple, and this side is no less beautiful than the body top.
Walnut is used for the core of the body.
So it is composed of three pieces.
The neck is made of maple and purple heart laminate.
It seems that the wood is selected from quarter-sawn wood.
This kind of attention to detail is costly, but I think the charm of this model is that they did not spare any expense in this respect.
The pickups are custom made for this model and are housed in a large pickup cover.
Inside are two pickups, controllable with a JB-like feel.
The active circuit is a GZP-2.
In addition to the 3-band EQ, the neck PU and bridge PU gain settings and notch filter can be adjusted in the cavity.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork are in good condition, with a 10mm ding on the side of the body. There are some other minor scratches and dings, but overall it is clean.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
