Their amp simulation and IR technologies are highly regarded worldwide.
This product is a signature preamp/DI for legendary bassist Melvin Davis.
The frequency range of the 3-band equalizer is as follows
BASS : 40Hz, ±12db
Middle : 160Hz-1000Hz, ±17db
Treble : 8000Hz, ±12db
The middle range is selectable for freqency.
The drive has a chunky OD flavor.
It is not as detailed as distortion, and excels at producing a sense of saturation.
The drive sound has a blend control and can be turned on and off by itself.
Of particular note on this model is the IR function.
It is equipped with a headphone jack and a balanced out jack (DI OUT), which can be used to create a realistic sound as if you are really playing right in front of the bass amp.
Many bass players suffer from the cold, thin sound characteristic of a line when practicing at home using headphones, but with this pedal, you can get a monitoring environment similar to that of playing through a bass amp in a rehearsal studio.
The IR can be turned on and off separately for the DI OUT (headphone out) and the normal output by means of a switch.
It is helpful for bassists to have this option when recording or playing live.
It is a small point, but it is also nice that the AUX IN and headphone out are mini-pin jacks.
With a phone jack, I would have to use a conversion plug.
To be honest, I wondered if a bassist like Melvin Davis would really be convinced by a product from such a start-up manufacturer, but after playing it, I was convinced. That's great.
I feel that the evolution of technology is amazing and it will raise the quality of life of us bass lovers to an even higher level.
There are almost no scratches on the exterior, and the operation is good.
