Moon is a long-established guitar brand representing Japan.
Highly regarded by many professional artists, Moon basses are known to be the favorites of many professionals, including Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham. (Titles omitted)
This is the legendary JJ.
The body is made of ash and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
The fingerboard has been heavily recessed and replaced with pickups of an unknown brand.
The preamp is a Bartolini XTCT.
The rich, crisp low end and high end are appealing.
I believe this sound is why it has been a favorite of bassists for so long.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and finish show signs of use, with peeling paint, dents, and scratches in several places. There is a crack in the wood behind the headstock, likely caused by overtightening the tuning machine screws. There are currently no playability issues.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The pickups have been replaced, and the body recess has been widened accordingly.
The tuning machine for the first string has been replaced. There is a screw hole that appears to have been used for a tension bar, which has been repaired.

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for a lifetime free ""string vibration setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)
- Please present your signed warranty card.
- Only the original purchaser from a GIB or TONIQ store or online shop is eligible.
- Please be aware that you are responsible for all shipping and other costs.
●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
●Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some products such as consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge (returns and refunds will only be accepted if this is not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, moving, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If the name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or is lost.
