Momose, based in Matsumoto, Nagano, produces high quality basses and guitars.
Momose basses and guitars are known for their beautiful looks and excellent sound.
Momose basses are popular among professionals and have been used by top musicians such as Kazuki Isogai and Kyohei Ariga. (Honorifics omitted).
This is a PJ style 5-string model.
The body is Alder and the fingerboard is Madagascar Rosewood, a classic configuration.
The paint is top lacquer.
One of the main characteristics of lacquer is the yellowing of the clear layer.
The top lacquer specification, which can combine the hardness of urethane and the look of lacquer, is actually a rational and very good design.
JESCAR is used for the frets, and GOTOH for the bridge and tuners.
Pickups are PB type split coil and JB type single coil, PJ style.
The neck side produces a wild fatness, while the bridge side produces a crisp and tightness.
The wild, crisp, and powerful sound is beautiful not only by itself, but also when mixed together.
