This is a JB model with a 24F range.
The body is Ash, and the neck and fingerboard are beautiful quarter-sawn Maple.
The quality of the wood in this area is very high.
The frets are Jescar, and the bridge and tuning machines are GOTOH.
The paint is Top Lacquer finish.
The color of the paint changes drastically as the top clear layer discolors.
The balance of using a strong paint such as urethane for the base and using lacquer for the top, which is related to the looks of the instrument, seems very reasonable.
