Description & Condition
It is known as a favourite of many legendary bass players such as Joe Osborne and Daryl Jones.
LAKLAND has several lines by grade, but this model is the highest grade Made in USA.
This model is the brand's flagship model with a single coil on the front and a humbucking PU in the rear.
The rear humbucking PU has three wiring variations: single coil on the front, humbucking and single coil on the rear.
This allows you to reproduce, together with the front, the PU layouts of the 60s JB and 70s JB, as well as the Stingray sound.
The body is ash back with a quilted maple top.
This beauty is a sight to behold.
The fingerboard is made of bird's eye maple.
The beauty of these decorations is one of the characteristics of LAKLAND.
The wetty sound is beautiful and contains many fascinating overtones.
It has the universal elements of a Fender bass, but with a more modern and sleeker sound.
There are roughly 60% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paintwork is generally dotted with many scratches and dents, especially on the body back, where there is a 10 mm dent with visible wood.
The electrical system is in good condition. There are some darkening and paint hulls from use.
The head top appears to have been refinished.
The strap pins have been replaced.
The pot for the EQ middle was defective at the time of arrival, so it has been replaced with a MONTREUX / 16φPOT B100K CC.
