Ken Smith is a New York-based brand that produces the highest quality electric bass guitars.
Their products are truly exquisite, captivating countless bassists.
The company is also known for developing the world's first 6-string bass and designing tapered-core strings, making them a pioneer in modern bass design.
This model features a body shape known as the BSR.
The BSR is a model that suits bassists who perform live, and is known for being used by bassists such as Marcus Miller and Melvin Davis. (Titles omitted)
This is the BSR6P-TW.
It uses bolt-on joints.
Manufactured in 2002.
The back of the control panel reads "QUALITY CONTROL TEST (6/11/02)."
The top and back of the body wings are made of Tiger Maple, and the core is made of Virginia Walnut.
The center block is made of Figured Maple.
The neck is a 3-piece Aged Hardrock Maple.
The fingerboard is Quartersawn Morado.
The pickups are Smith Custom Bass Humbacking Sorpbar Pickups.
A switch on the top of the body allows for series/parallel operation.
Due to a problem with the neck pickup, it was replaced with a current Ken Smith pickup.
The preamp is a Smith B.M.T. 3-Band EQ.
It offers the highest quality in both appearance and sound.
Only Ken Smith can provide the natural character of the low B string, which is indistinguishable from the E string.
However, the E string does not have a spoiled texture; the treble strings are thick and rich.
The bolt-on joint gives it a crisper, more defined sound than a neck-through bass.

●Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee is 50% for new instruments and 70% for used instruments.
●Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
