Ken Smith is a New York, USA brand that produces top-quality electric basses.
Their products are truly superb. Their products are truly superb and have attracted many bassists.
The Fusion is a model that is just in between the BSR, which is for standing players, and the BT, which is for seated players.
The body top and back are made of Walnut, and the core is made of Maple.
This combination is named Black Tiger, and it is the highest rank in the brand.
It has the highest quality in both appearance and sound.
Like the wood, the design of the electrical system is also very superb.
The PU is the original dual coil.
This can be switched between series and parallel by a switch on the top of the body.
The preamp has a 3-band EQ and is powered by 18V.
The back panel can be opened to access a switch to change the EQ freqency.
It is because of Ken Smith that the low B string has the same character as the E string as a matter of course.
That said, the E string does not have a spoiled texture, and is thick and rich all the way to the treble strings.
