The name "KAMINARI" is the same as "KAMINARI YOKOHAMA," a musical instrument store in Yokohama's Chinatown.
They also manufacture cables, which are used by Kazuki Arai, Shunsuke Ishikawa, and Shunsuke Ochi of KING GNU.
This model is a signature model of Masaru Sudo.
Both 1- and 2-pickup models are available, but this is a 2-pickup type.
Lightweight is one of the objectives, and light ash has been used and the head has been downsized.
It is based on the non-reverse Thunderbird motif, and the pickups are modeled after it.
The characteristic low-mid overhang is distinctive, and it looks good when distorted.
The 4th string peg has been replaced with a Hipshot GB5 Gotoh GB528 Xtender Tuning Key Extender D-Tuner.
The remaining frets are approximately 80%.
The truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it works about 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition. There are a few dents of a few mm on the tip of the head.
The body and painted surface are in good condition, with 3-4 mm dents scattered on the body back and sides. There are deep dents near the cutaway strap pins.
