The SR series is a long-running series, and its combination of slim body and neck with powerful electronics is well-balanced and is highly acclaimed around the world.

This is the SRSC805, which was announced as part of the Bass Workshop series at NAMM2016.
As you can see, it has a single-cut, neck-through structure, and is characterized by a smoother attack and long sustain.

The neck is a 5P laminate type using Maple/Purple heart.

The method of making a neck by gluing multiple pieces of wood together is a method to reduce left-right differences and individual differences, and to obtain higher stability.

The fingerboard is Purple Heart.
This wood is quite purple when freshly cut, but it turns relatively brown over time, so I don't think I'm making a mistake.

The wing part has a beautiful Poplar burl on the top and Mahogany on the back.

The PU is Bartolini and the preamp is original.

The string pitch is 18mm and the nut is 45mm, making it relatively slim.
I think you will find it easy to play.

The sound is smooth and has a strong warm feel.
Like SR, it has high playability and is very well balanced.

The overall design is beautifully designed and the finish is typical of a major brand. It's amazing.

Approximately 85% of the frets remain.
The truss rod works well.
The condition of the neck is that the treble string side has a tendency to warp. Currently, it is adjusted to 2.0 to 2.8mm (12F above), but if you are concerned about the high position of the 1.2 string becoming clogged, you may be able to play without any problems by raising the string height by about 0.2mm from the standard.
The condition of the body and painted surface was originally matte, but there are some areas where it has been polished and has become glossy. There are also dents and scratches.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modification points were found.
