Hofner is a brand that produces so-called violin basses and other distinctive instruments.
Paul McCartney and others are known to have used the company's basses.

This model is called the Club Bass and has a beautiful single-cut body.

It has a characteristic high mid that comes through with a sconce, which is unique to hollowbodies and can be heard well.
The semi-acoustic style with a centre block makes it relatively resistant to feedback.

There are roughly 70% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order and the neck is in good condition.
