History is an original brand by Shimamura Gakki.
As an original brand of a music store, it is characterized by its high cost performance.

This model is based on a classic jazz bass.
It is a high-end model.

The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is rosewood, a popular combination.

The maple used for the neck is called Heritage Wood from North America.
This wood has been submerged in cold water for more than 100 years, where bacteria have broken down impurities, and it is said to be of high quality in terms of acoustic properties and stability.

The coating is finished with a lacquer top.
The appearance is still this, which is why it is finished like that.

The frets are fretted by the well-known CFS (circle fretting system).
CFS is a fan-shaped fretting system, which makes the frets strike at right angles to the strings and allows for more accurate scale setting.

The frets themselves are made by Jescar.
It is rare that Jescar is chosen because there are cheaper frets available in Japan.
That is how particular they are about it.

The bridge is made of titanium, manufactured by KTS.
It is lightweight, yet hard.

You can feel the modern nuance in its vintage feel and fast response.

Tuners are GOTOH GB-2.
This is a standard item.

Pickups are HBJ-1, CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks, and high spec.

The sound is the royal road of JB.
It is percussive and crisp, but there is no lack of low frequency and rich midrange.

This instrument is a model of what you can expect when assembled to these specs.
This is an excellent work that does not cut costs excessively and is filled with the best parts made in Japan.

I think many people will like it.
Recommended.

The remaining frets are about 80%.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition, with a slight high up, and the current string height on the 12th fret is 2.5mm on the 1st string side and 3.0mm on the 4th string side, which can be played without any sound jamming or chattering.
It has a Fender-like feel.
There are several 1~2mm dents on the head side, and the lower part of the Y on the HISTORY logo is missing.
There are some scratches on the body and paint. 2-10mm paint chips are scattered around the body. Rust is visible on the screws and pole pieces. The entire body is tanned and slightly yellowed.
The electrical system makes a slight buzzing noise only when the bridge volume is turned up fast. Other controls are in good working order.
The capacitor appears to have been replaced with a small ceramic type. The pickguard has been replaced with a tortoiseshell one.
