Description & Condition

HISTORY is an original brand developed by Shimamura Music.

True to its roots as a music store's original brand, it is characterized by high cost performance.

This is a special model developed jointly by HISTORY and EVERTONE PROJECT.

The woodwork is by Tsubasa Guitar Workshop, with assembly and finishing carried out with the cooperation of Wood Custom Guitars.

The body is Ash, the fingerboard is Rosewood.

The finish employs a matching headstock design with Majolica colors, revealing different expressions depending on the viewing angle.

It features the NEWTONE WCG JB5 Class-S GENE pickup developed by EVERTONE PROJECT.

By designing the envelope curve, it aims to control the moment of peak attack.

The most significant feature of this model is the adoption of the NEWTONE SWITCH (envelope correction circuit).

It offers distinct transient shapes with MILD and FAST&BITE modes.

While typically switched via the tone knob's push/pull function, this model uses a push/push switch instead.

MILD provides a gentle attack and release.

It should be useful for soft, long-toned passages like ballads.

FAST&BITE delivers a quick response feel and a presence with a biting harmonic character.

It should create a cool sound for slap phrases with lots of ghost notes.

The bridge uses a HIPSHOT STYLE-B, and the tuners are GOTOH GB11W/5.

There is absolutely no compromise in the hardware selection.

Fundamentals and overtones are perfectly controlled, and the Low-B string—often the Achilles' heel of 5-string basses—sounds crystal clear with no muddiness.

It anchors the band's low end with a solid, focused low-mid presence while letting the necessary frequencies cut through cleanly.

This is a highly recommended instrument, especially for bassists who prioritize live performance.

Approximately 90% of frets remain.
