Description & Condition
HEX Guitars is a Korea-based brand specializing in products in the entry- to mid-range price range.
They have their own factory in Indonesia where they manufacture their products themselves, which sets them apart from typical OEM brands.
They don't leave it to other companies' factories, and their boss himself is so passionate about the work that he is on-site himself, which is why they are able to produce guitars of a quality unimaginable given the price.
The B Series lineup features models that combine classic character with modern specifications.
This B375 is a modern 5-string JB model.
The body back is made of Indonesian mahogany and the top is made of flame maple.
Indonesian mahogany has a weight and tone that is well-suited to instruments, making it a popular choice in recent years.
The flame maple top is beautiful, and the see-through color that accentuates it creates an elegant atmosphere.
The neck is made of roasted maple.
Roasted wood, also known as Thermo wood, is a new material popularized by Japan's Sago new material guitars.
It was originally developed as a Finnish technology for building saunas.
Treating the wood at high temperatures evaporates the moisture and oils inside, resulting in high stability even in hot and humid environments.
The sound is given a more refined, rich tone.
Additionally, two carbon fiber rods are built into the neck for increased strength.
The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood and has a relatively flat 16"" fingerboard radius.
The neck is a thin C-shape.
The scale length is 35"".
This guitar is characterized by a stronger fundamental tone compared to a 34"" scale, a design that matches their modern concept.
The pickups are their original single coils.
They use their original pickups in many of their models.
This is not to cut costs, but because they are confident in the quality of the pickups they design.
The staff, who know music and play it on a daily basis, have thoroughly researched many elements, including the magnet, wire, and bobbin, to design it.
The first thing you notice when you hold it is its high playability.
It is very easy to play, and there is no stress involved.
The sound has a strong sense of intonation, and the clear pronunciation even in the lower registers is reassuring.
I think it would be very useful in gospel, R&B, or aggressive rock ensembles.
The basic quality around the neck is so high that it plays well, and it would be difficult to say that it is inferior to more expensive instruments.
Overall, it is a great product with high quality in looks, playability, and sound.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain About.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are occasional scratches on the body and finish.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No obvious modifications were found.
