Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Freedom is a guitar studio in Tokyo that has gained overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan, and in recent years its name has begun to spread overseas.
Originally highly praised for their repair work, they are now focusing on manufacturing, and their work is loved by many musicians for its high quality and rational design sense.
All of the brand's bases are manufactured in Tokyo.
The wood we use is carefully selected through strict quality control, and if the wood we purchase does not meet our standards, we will not use it in our products.
I believe that this kind of quality control is possible because we are a small workshop.
Even in this sense, the quality is fundamentally different from those made in large-scale factories.
This model is a modern base made by Freedom, who knows everything about vintage.
The body is Alder and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood.
The frets are warm type stainless steel.
It is the best fret with high wear resistance and does not lose its shine.
The preamp has a surprisingly pushed nuance, giving it an active feel in a good way.
Since the acoustic parts are smart, I think you can feel a sense of comfort in this aspect.
Although it has a wide range, the sound is soft and does not lose a clear sense of pitch.
The wonderful balance of the instrument will not feel strange to players who are familiar with Fender, and it should feel like an instrument you've owned for years.
The neck pocket says 15034005, Nov 2015, freedon CGR, T, A.
The accessory spec sheet says it's a maple finger version, but I think that's a mistake.
Approximately 90% of the frets remain.
The movement of the truss rod is a little stiff, but we have confirmed that it can move around 90 degrees.
The neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paint surface is that there are some dents and scratches here and there. Rust can be seen on the metal parts.
The electrical system is in good condition.
Since the tone pot was malfunctioning, I replaced it with a Bourns push-pull pot A250k metric at GIB. Others are original.

GIB's craftsmen have adjusted it to make it easier to play and then deliver it to you.
