Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that has garnered overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan and has recently begun to make a name for itself overseas.
Originally acclaimed for its repair work, the workshop now focuses on manufacturing. Their work is beloved by many musicians for its high quality and rational design sense.
All of the brand's basses are manufactured in Tokyo.
Strict quality control is used to carefully select the wood used, and any wood that does not meet the standards is not used in the products.
It is precisely because they are a small workshop that this level of quality control is possible.
In this sense, too, the quality is fundamentally different from that of wood made in large factories.
This model is a custom-order model based on the 1970s Fender JB.
The body is made of Light Weight Ash, with a classic wood composition of maple neck and fingerboard.
All finishes are lacquered and relic-treated.
It has an outstanding atmosphere.
The pickups are original single-coil pickups, and the preamp is also original.
The sound is just as described.
It has a wide range yet is overall powerful, which is what makes Fender Vintage so appealing.
This is an exceptional guitar that retains the distinctive and cool sound of '70s Fenders.
Approximately 50% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition; the frets are generally lower due to filing, which may cause choking depending on how you play.
The body and finish are in good condition.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The push-pull potentiometer and output jack have been replaced.
