It features a Holistic Tonal Solution circuit that operates at an internal voltage of +/-15Vdc to maximise the potential of the guitar/bass and connected pedal effects pedals and amplifiers.
This circuit ensures that the same textured tone is maintained in bypass and effects.

HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) circuit.
The panel tilt is angled at 12° to increase visibility of the display and ease of operation of the footswitches.
The distance between footswitches is 71.5 mm vertically and 80 mm horizontally, and custom-made footswitches are used. They are quick-response and support quick operation.
Dedicated panel for presets and settings. The hierarchy of edit menus has been reduced as much as possible, dramatically improving operability. No need to spend a lot of time on editing.
The LINK function allows two ARC-3 units to be connected and operated.
The MUTE LINK function allows MUTE control from an external footswitch.
By switching the DISPLAY mode, the programme change number for each MIDI channel currently being transmitted can be checked at a glance.
To prevent moisture (e.g. sweat) from entering the internal circuit board directly, the LEDs above the footswitch are lensed and a felt sheet is affixed to the back of the display.
A strong plastic moulded type phone jack is used. It is safe for long-term use.

The signal line to the D.I., which is necessary for bassists, is also taken into account: a terminal is provided to output the signal immediately after it has passed through the HTS input circuit, and the output line can be linked to it with the MUTE switch.
The output line is equipped with a MUTE circuit that can be linked with a MUTE switch. This feature allows the output to the amplifier and the output to the D.I. to be MUTE'd simultaneously.
The universal specification AC adaptor is used and can be used from 100 V to 240 V AC.
To prevent accidental operation of the control panel during performance, an AUTO LOCK function is provided for the control buttons, which automatically locks after 10 minutes of inactivity.
The entire chassis shows signs of use, with multiple scratches and some rusted parts, but it is in good working order.
