Description & Condition
Fodera is one of the most respected high-end bass brands in the world.
Founder Vinny Fodera began his career in his teens.
After working at top workshops such as Spector and Ken Smith, he founded Fodera Guitars in 1983.
Their clients include world-class musicians such as Victor Wooten, Richard Bona, Marcus Miller, and Anthony Jackson. (Titles omitted)
The breathtakingly beautiful finish justifies the high price tag.
This is the Imperial, a signature model made for Richard Bona.
The body is the familiar combination of Olive and Ash.
The laminated neck, mainly made of Maple, is joined using a neck-through construction.
The pickups are EMG 40J, and the preamp is a Fodera original.
The tuning machines, pickups, and finger ramp show little signs of use, and the overall condition is very clean, suggesting it has been well cared for. Regarding the paintwork, weather-checking-like cracks are visible mainly on the back of the body.
It's incredibly easy to play, and the sound, typical of Fodera, is undeniably superb—smooth and direct.
At the same time (or perhaps because of it), its aesthetic beauty is also striking.
This is a guitar where you can feel Fodera's unique aesthetic sense at work in both the sound and the looks.
It's not only appealing to fans of the brand and fans of the player, but it also possesses high value as a supreme high-end bass.
We highly recommend seeing it in person.
The frets have approximately 50% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
Weather checking is visible throughout the body and paintwork.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
