Description & Condition
Description & Condition
FGN (Fujigen) is Japan's world-class guitar factory.
It is highly regarded worldwide and has manufactured many guitar brands such as Fender on an OEM basis.
FGN is the original brand of Fujigen.
The J-Standard series is Fujigen's new standard model.
As you can see, this model is designed with a jazz bass as a motif.
While based on a traditional sound, it is characterized by a more subdued nuance and incorporates specs for deep distortion and big low end.
The frets are fitted with a technology called the Circle Fretting System (CFS).
This means that the frets are struck in a fan shape, which improves pitch accuracy by ensuring correct spacing between the nut and frets.
The original bridge is flexible, allowing strings to pass through from both the front and back.
Overall, this bass features a neat balance.
There are “MJ5”, “20 1 23” on the neck pocket and “JMJ5-M-ASH-01”, “20 02” and “200106” on the neck end.
There is roughly 70% frets remaining.
The truss rod is in good working order.
The neck is in good condition.
The condition of the body and paint surface has a 25mm scratch on the body side. There is some paint peeling near the neck joint. There is a 10mm ding on the body end.
The electrical system is in good condition.
No clear modification points were found.
