Description & Condition
The MPJ is an ambitious work based on the traditional PB style, incorporating unique design details.
This is a so-called "Show model" manufactured by Divisor in 2021.
Barre Tohchi is used for the top of the body.
It is really rare to see such an intricate wood grain.
The faded coloring is also cool.
The body back is made of 1-ply alder without lamination.
Normally, 2-ply (or 3-ply) is more popular, so this is a luxurious specification.
By the way, the pickguard is also a special one with a beckoning pattern made of acrylic.
It has a unique and flashy atmosphere that is not found on the original Beckow.
The neck is made of thermo maple.
Thermo wood, which is treated at high temperatures to volatilize moisture and increase rigidity, is originally a Finnish technique.
It was apparently popular as a building material for saunas, but in terms of its use in musical instruments, the Kansai brand Sago is a pioneer.
Naturally, wood that has gone out of alignment during the thermo treatment is not used and is played.
As a result, the quality of the product is high in many ways.
One of the characteristics of the thermo wood is that it has a cozy sound, and in a good sense, it feels less like new to play.
The fingerboard is made of beautiful ebony.
The wood alone has elegant specifications that are typical of the Shaw model.
The frets are JESCAR Evolution Gold.
Pickups are a combination of PB type split coil and JB type single coil, PJ style.
The neck side produces a wild fatness, and the bridge side produces a crisp and tightness.
These alone, as well as when mixed together, create a beautiful wild, crisp, and powerful sound.
Overall, this is a great piece of work that is both beautiful and practical sounding because it is a show model.
Very little fret wear.
The truss rod operation and neck are in good condition.
The condition of the body and painted surface is only a small scratch on the pickguard, and overall, it can be said that this is a beautiful piece as good as new.
